The chimes feature diverse tone pitches. In the shaded basement, the sound installation
in treating a japanese bell is suspended part of the permanent exhibition of the museum.
The physical chime remains silent. The chimes of the installation are computer generated
only made to open virtual spaces for the audience dilating or tapering depending on the tone
pitch.
Die Glockenklänge besitzen unterschiedliche Tonhoehen. In dem dunklen Kellerraum,
den die Klanginstallation beschallt hängt eine japanische Glocke aus der staendigen Sammlung
des Museums. Die physisch reale Glocke schweigt allerdings. Stattdessen sind die hoerbaren Klaenge
vollkommen synthetisch am Computer erzeugt und eroeffnen für das Publikum imaginaere Raeume, die je
nach Tonhoehe sich weiten oder zuspitzen.
